Now that the summer's coming I'm hoping to get more photos outdoors. I love setting up my bird feeders and watching all the different species feed together. This year's plan is to work on my macro photography. Up until now I've only been practicing on minifigs....not that I mind. They are very cooperative.
I decided to share some of my favorite photos from the past three months.

Janine! Your macro-photography is wonderful! And what is it about the Willow Tree figurines? I love photographing them as well.
ReplyDeleteI am shopping for a macro lens and can't wait to start taking photos like you are. Focusing on your macro works is a great goal for 2012.
We have bird feeders, too, and the enjoyment I get from watching my birdie friends is so much more than I anticipated. I am anxious to see your bird photos. We get a pair of cardinals and they keep running from my camera.
Thanks for the shout out ... and I appreciate your continued participation in the blog hops and the CY365 community!
Your pictures are amazing! I have really enjoyed getting to know you better through them on the CY365 board!
ReplyDeleteI'm a big Willow Tree fan as well.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the snow leopard pic. WOW!
I've been reading your blog regularly since the last blog hop and it has been so enjoyable getting to know you!
Holy guacamole! I LOVE that water picture. It is AWEsome. Well, they all are! Do you have a macro lens or do you use extensions? I just got some extensions and I can't wait to play with them some more. It's a whole new world.
ReplyDeleteAbbie, I got a 100mm macro for Christmas this past year. I'm still experimenting with it. I'm going to be on the hunt for flowers this summer. I want to take photos like Suziec.
ReplyDeletelove the water pic, but that snow leopard is pretty awesome... and I love the pin cushion and and. you get it.
ReplyDeleteThe snow leopard is just stunning.
ReplyDeleteI think I need to send my boys some sweet text messages, so they can respond with...yeah, it'll be snarky, but what a fun idea!
Janine, your photography is an amazing part of the CY365 community. I love your perspective and love the details you capture.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on almost 100!
