My 2012 Fat Quarter Shop Mystery BOM quilt top is done.
I cheated on the borders, shhhh. This quilt has been hanging around for so long I just wanted it to be done. And, now it is. I really do love it.
I've already prepared the binding. All that's left to do is piece the backing and decide what to do about the quilting.
My quilting skill stops at straight lines. I think this quilt top needs a little more attention than I can give it. So, I will probably mail it out to a professional to make it pretty.
Even without finishing the borders per the pattern, it's still a large quilt. Great for snuggling under--there's room for two.

What a great finish! Love the fabric colors.
ReplyDeleteIt is a lovely quilt and the borders look just fine. When there is so much activity in a quilt top I usually like just a plain/solid border. Great finish!
ReplyDeleteThank Linda. I like the plain borders too.
DeleteSo pretty! The fabrics are so fresh and happy! Great finish!
ReplyDeleteThanks Paige. It felt like this quilt would never be done. :)
